This might be my last post, or atleast for a while... I have decided to leave SSE, and have about two months or so, to make a decision as to where I go next. If you, or anyone else you know, might find someone like me useful for an organisation, please let me know.
I am considering an MBA, potentially an equivalent and/or part-time. For me, an organisation's support towards this for their EAs would be a key aspect of my choice. We have kicked off many discussions in and out of this network about the business benefits to an EA and their organisation. I'm sure many of you would have a lot of positive and negative responses towards speaking the same language as the business owners. Should we lean towards the business owners and assist them in making decisions? Or should EAs lean towards operations/IT and assist them in designing and implementing the decisions which have been made? We probably can't go towards either extreme... I would like to understand your opinion.
Over the past few years, I have been in close contact with many of you, and just wanted to let you all know. Please don't flame me. I will not be available on this email address any more... :-)
Best regards,
Joseph
